1. Agreement
These Terms cover your use of Skye Shape's websites (skyeshape.org and subdomains), the free Skye Shape Academy on Skool, our forms, surveys, emails, texts and calls, operated by Brandon Whittier, doing business as Skye Shape. By using them, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Who we are
Brandon Whittier is an independent licensed health and life insurance broker based in North Carolina (NPN #20140109), licensed in NC, IA, IN, MO, NV, OR, TN and WI. We can only help with personal insurance in states where we are licensed. We work with everyone: every income level, health profile and household type.
3. Educational content only
- 📘 Lessons, posts, emails, ads and any examples are educational and general. They are not legal, tax, medical or financial advice, and are not a guarantee of coverage, eligibility, price or benefits.
- 📘 Any numbers shown are illustrative. Final eligibility and price are confirmed with you directly and depend on the plan, state, and your situation.
- 📘 Some plans discussed (such as fixed-cash/indemnity plans) are not major medical coverage, and some private plans are not ACA-compliant and may not cover pre-existing conditions. We explain these differences before you choose.
4. Free community
🎓 Skye Shape Academy is free. Joining never obligates you to buy anything. Please be respectful, don't post other people's private information, and avoid sharing your own sensitive health details in public posts. We may remove content or members that break these rules. Skool's terms also apply to your Skool account.
5. Diabetic Strength
💙 Diabetic Strength is a separate, complementary peer-support community brand. It stays free and is about support, not sales. You never need to buy anything or talk insurance to take part. These Terms apply to Diabetic Strength where it uses our sites or systems. Peer content there is not medical advice; talk to your own healthcare provider.
6. Texts, calls and emails
- 📲 SMS: by checking the consent box, you agree to receive texts from Skye Shape about your insurance questions and appointments. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. Consent is not required to buy anything. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- 📞 Calls may be recorded, as described in the Privacy Policy.
- ✉️ Email: unsubscribe anytime using the link in any email.
7. Applications and coverage
🛡️ Coverage is only in force when an insurer approves an application and issues a policy. Insurers, not Skye Shape, make underwriting and claims decisions. Questionnaires and surveys are not applications.
8. Intellectual property
All lessons, graphics and materials are owned by Skye Shape or its licensors. You may use them for personal, non-commercial learning. Please don't copy or resell them.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Our sites and content are provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, Skye Shape is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the educational content. Nothing here limits any duties we owe you as a licensed broker under state law.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where your state's insurance laws require otherwise.
